EXPERIENCE

I have been coaching clients in public speaking, media training and confidence building for over ten years. Many of us feel anxious in public speaking, networking, social situations and communicating with colleagues or future clients. I can help you address the issues holding you back, re-focus your thinking and build your confidence. Coaching comes in many forms. We will work together to find the approach to suit your needs. We will find the right combination of classic public speaking coaching, neuro linguistic programming (NLP) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Here’s how it works.Initial conversation and assessment. This can be done by SKYPE, telephone or in person. Our first session will establish your goals and outline how we are going to achieve the best results for you within a desired time frame.Public speaking anxiety normally takes only 2 or 3 session, depending on how much practice and detail you need. You can choose to include camera practice and creative consultancy on your presentation or talk.Confidence coaching will entirely depend on where you are now and where you’d like to be. The average coaching period covers between 6 - 12 sessions.Media training includes classic presentation training with journalistic insights. You will learn how to stay on message, answer questions confidently and deal with the media spotlight, whether you’re brand new to it or a seasoned pro needing help with a current issue.BACKGROUNDMy background is in radio and TV production where I worked closely with established presenters, famous faces and people brand new to the mic and camera, so I’ve got a lot of experience working with people who need from editorial production and those brand new to the spotlight. In the world of television I have created ideas such as Victoria Wood’s “Victoria’s Empire” for BBC1, “The Hairy Bikers Great Mississippi Adventure” and am proud to have been part of the team to bring “An Idiot Abroad” to the SKY ONE.CURRENT WORK In addition to working with multi-million pound companies, creative teams and CEOs, I am a trainer for D&AD, coach and mentor with the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women, a personal success coach for The Coaching Academy, and a media volunteer for MIND. “I’m passionate about helping people find their voice and re-balancing their thinking. Mental health is fundamental to living a fulfilled work and personal life. Many people have a fear of speaking in public and I help them overcome those worries to help them thrive in their lives on all levels.”
